New Castle: A Semester in Review
Last semester, we were so involved in our weekly activities that we missed out a bit on the picture taking! We finished off the year with some great activities, learning about different cultural holiday celebrations, decorating gingerbread houses, and sipping hot cocoa. Even earlier (way back in October!) we had a lot of fun carving pumpkins and playing Halloween Charades. Below are photos of student pumpkins and the gingerbread houses we made.
We have a lot of great activities planned for 2017 and cannot wait to get started. In addition to many more SMART goals days, where students will set, work toward, and achieve academic, employment, and social goals, we will be going bowling, cooking up some food in the kitchen, and making a visit to the New Castle Basketball Museum. Stay tuned for more updates!
