A Sunny Session in Tempe
Last week, Dr. Theresa Ochoa and Sarah Swank had the opportunity to travel to Tempe, Arizona for the TECBD conference. TECBD stands for Teacher Educators for Children with Behavioral Disorders, which brings together researchers, educators, administrators, and others who are invested in the lives of our American youth with behavioral disorders.
In addition to hearing two amazing keynote speakers, and learning from several presentations, Dr. Ochoa and Ms. Swank were able to share their work with HOPE and the importance of mentoring. Below is a photo of Ms. Swank and the accomplished scholar, Heather Griller-Clark, whose research the HOPE organization has found most helpful!
