  HOW TO HELP

BECOME A MENTOR

One of the greatest needs for the HOPE Mentoring program is volunteers who are willing to serve in the facility and community roles. If you are an undergraduate college student in Indiana and want to become a mentor, the first step is to apply!

You can complete and submit the application form online. When your application is received, you will be contacted by a staff member to begin the training process.

For more information about the training process, click here

FINANCIAL AND MATERIAL DONATIONS

We are also in need of the following items:

  • Office supplies (binders and portfolios, printing allotments)

  • Business clothes for young adults* (suits, dresses, shoes, ties, blouses, slacks - all genders & size accepted)

  • Monetary donations

  • Non-perishable snacks or grocery store gift cards for mentoring activity snacks

  • Books, textbooks, employment related games/books/magazines

All business clothing will be donated to the HOPE Professional Wardrobes set up in each facility, in conjunction with the Dress Your Best fashion show events put on by HOPE and correctional facility staff.
